Andutteye 3.0 "Codename Phoenix"

Status:

Thanx and glory to: hampus for contributments with testing, coding and patching of this Andutteye version.

Provides a new generation of Andutteye, and also new features and functionality.Here are the changelog of major changes and new features of version 3.0.

Server

• Rewrite of standard frames to div based, css stylesheet capabillities.
• Rewrite of codemass til functionbased.
• Removal of visible urls with username and hashed passwords.
• Salted user passwords (sha1 salted)
• New graph functionality and graph class (Open flash chart).
• Include of Zend framework.
• Filetransfer Object functionality (abillity to accept filetransfers from agents)

 Almost all validation in the andutteye logic is hashbased, when a control is performed a snapshot of the systems is taken i advance, validations is performed in memory, instead of a systemcall to validate every single monitor.

 Syslog

• Support for facillities and severity tagging

• Intial create of proxy, act as middle layer between agents and server.
• Have loadbalancing and failover funtionality.
• Can act as gateways in extreme and big enviroments.
• Have burst and logical  loadsupport for extreme loads.

Syslog and proxy services will be completed and packed in version 3.1.
